Dave Jacoby is an accomplished finance and hospitality development professional with extensive experience in fundraising from individual high net worth investors (HNWI). Jacoby successfully raised almost $300 million from 2013 through 2017 from HNWI's that helped fund developments in the hospitality, retail, and industrial spaces.

Jacoby is currently the Founder and Managing Principal at SOAR Investment Opportunities and SOAR Advisory Services. SOAR Investment Opportunities is a Registered Investment Advisor that advises and educates HNWI’s on investment in hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and other alternative investment vehicles. SOAR Advisory Services is a consulting company that provides business strategy and capital raising stewardship to early-stage companies across multiple industries, with an expertise in commercial real estate and complex deal structuring.

Dave Jacoby

Jacoby was engaged by two prominent Las Vegas investors to develop and open the Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino, on the Las Vegas Strip. Seeded with just $500,000, Jacoby successfully raised over $160 million to design, develop, staff, and open the resort in late 2016 serving in functions ranging from development and pre-opening activities, including project financing, legal, HR, design, construction, purchasing, and strategic partnerships.

Jacoby served as Chief Operating Officer of the Las Vegas Economic Regional Impact Center, LLC (“LVEIRC”, a federally licensed vehicle utilized to raise EB-5 immigrant financing), where he led the initial structuring of this entity and obtained its required federal approvals to operate. Through his roles at LVEIRC and his separate consulting efforts, Jacoby led the structuring and marketing of multiple EB-5 offerings that have collectively raised approximately $225 million.

Jacoby previously served as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Global Gaming Asset Management, a joint venture between Cantor Fitzgerald and the former Las Vegas Sands senior management team, where he worked directly with the firm’s principals and lead investment banking team to underwrite, evaluate, and develop large-scale integrated resort projects worldwide, including the $1 billion Solaire Manila.

Jacoby began his career at New York-based finance and strategy consulting firm Jaffoni & Collins, where he quickly ascended to Vice President and advised C-level management of multiple publicly traded companies while serving as a conduit between senior management and Wall Street.

Jacoby holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Finance & Investments from the School of Hotel Management at Cornell University, a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA licenses. He was named to Global Gaming Business magazine’s top “40 Under 40” list in 2015 and has guest lectured at Cornell University, UNLV, and spoken at various hospitality, innovation, and EB-5 related events. He has appeared in several major print and television news programs worldwide and currently resides in Galveston, Texas with his wife and two daughters.
